Darrell Singley was born Aug. 29, 1959, and passed away Monday, July 27, 2026, at the age of 66.
He is survived by his wife, Leanne Singley; children, Jerri Sagona and husband Frank, Kati Bourque and husband Kevin, and Miles Singley and wife Kristie; 19 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, John Singley, Mike Singley, and Harrell Singley; and sister, Gertrude Simmons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Lillian Singley; nephew, Harrell Singley Jr.; mother-in-law, Georgia Newnum; father-in-law, Rev. Archie Newnum; and sister-in-law, Karen Singley.
The family received friends from 5 – 8 p.m., Friday, July 31, with the funeral service held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 1, at New Hope Baptist Church, in DeQuincy. Pastor Roland Hebert officiated. Interment followed at Oretta Cemetery in Singer.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
