Melanie Ann Trahan was born on Jan. 21, 2025, and went to be with Jesus on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at the age of 1 1/2 years.
Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory are her parents, Jonathan Trahan and Megan Hoffpauir; stepdad, Devin Badon; sister, Maddison Grace Trahan; aunts and uncles, Kayla Hoffpauir, Terry Hoffpauir, Belinda Sargent (Larry Jr.), Kimberly Sample, and Amber Trahan; a host of cousins, family, and friends.
She was preceded in passing by her grandparents, Eugene and Emma Trahan, Kelly and Terry Hoffpauir; aunts and uncles, Douglas and Jennifer Dupre and Gerald Courmier.
The family received friends Thursday, July 30, from 10 a.m., until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m., at First Baptist Church, 128 Highway 109, in Starks. Rev. Ron Butler officiated. Interment follow ed at Miller Annex in Starks.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 517 Broad St., Lake Charles.
