On Friday, Feb. 27, the DeQuincy Tigers took on the Logansport Tigers from DeSoto Parish. They would jump on DeQuincy early taking a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning but it would be short-lived. The home standing Tigers would score 2 runs in the second inning, two in the third inning, and three more in the third inning to build a comfortable lead as they would cruise to a 10-2 victory over Logansport.
Noah Pettifield was 1-3, Kahle Miller was 2-3 with an RBI, Tucker Goza was 2-4 with 2 RBIs, Bryce Dyson was 2-2 with an RBI, Grant Rainwater was 1-3 with an RBI, and Rowdy Griffin was 2-4.
