Julia Ann Pitts, 85, was born Sept. 19, 1939, in Mobile, Alabama, and passed away Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025, in Spring, Texas.
She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Annette Vineyard; grandchildren, Robert, Otist, Darrell, and John; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Jeanette Sue Autrey and Lynn Leger.
She was preceded in death by her great grandson; Clayton A. Vaughn; mother, Murl Loney Hislar; father, Lonnie Gray Todd and wife Nancy Elizabeth Todd; and sisters, Betty June Thames and Elizabeth Todd.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m.- 12 p.m., Tuesday, Mar. 18, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3591 Discovery Creek Boulevard in Spring, Texas.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
