Reid Arnold Thompson, 93, of DeRidder, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2024.
He was born in Cramerton, North Carolina.
Survivors include his wife, Frieda Warden Thompson of DeRidder; four children, Kahlan Gouley and Terry of Midland, Texas, John Thompson and Terri of DeRidder, and Debra Doyle and Gary of Merryville, and Tera Cromeens and Scott of Fort Worth Texas. eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, siblings, Steve Thompson, Kay Dakota, Melton Thompson, and Joyce Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Louie Kitchen Thompson; and eight siblings.
Funeral Service was held in the chapel, of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home on Friday Dec. 27. Wayne Fariss, and James Patterson, and Don Snider officiated. Burial was in Bivens Cemetery in Merryville.
