Eva D. Haynes was born Dec. 15, 1946, and passed away Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, at the age of 77. Eva loved to read and pray. She was a faithful member of Eastwood Pentecostal Church. More than anything, she loved her family and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Chris Haynes; son, Jonathan Haynes; siblings, Paula Norwood, Ivy Anderson, Ronald Buller, and Donald Buller; along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kirby and Vina Buller; brother, Kirby Wayne Buller; and nephew, Kelvin Woodard.
Service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 23, at Eastwood United Pentecostal Church in Lake Charles.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
