Dorine McEwin Smith was born June 11, 1943, and passed away Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024, at the age of 81.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Cullen Smith Sr.
She is survived by her children, Arthur Cullen Smith and wife Claire, Gene Allen Smith and wife Deborah Horton, and Elizabeth O’Neill and husband Joe; grandchildren, Joshua Cullen Smith, Joey O’Neill, Reagan and her spouse; along with Dustin Aaron, Justin Aaron, and Angela Aaron; siblings, Huey Joe McEwin and wife Judy, and Celestine McEwin Denson and husband Hubert; nephew, Richard Shaddock; along with other numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Stella McEwin; and siblings, Glendora Booker and husband Frank, Faith Anderson, and Fred McEwin.
A graveside service was held at 1 p.m., Monday, Nov. 18, at Ford Cemetery in Bon Weir, Texas.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
