On Thursday June 23, 2022 the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury approved the redistricting plan for Police Jury Districts based on the 2020 United States Census.
The new districts officially took effect Jan. 1, 2024.
Residents voted, based on the new districts, in the fall of 2023 Police Jury election.
Every election thereafter will be based on the new districts.
