Vinton edges out DeQuincy
It just wasn’t quite DeQuincy’s day as the Lady Tigers fell to the Vinton Lady Lions on the road 2-1 in a District 5-2A contest. It saw DeQuincy have 5 hits but Vinton’s defense held the Lady Tigers from turning those hits into runs.
Miley Moore pitched all 7 innings recording 3 strikeouts and only giving up 3 hits.
Bryah LeDay went 1-3 with an RBI, Aubree Royer went 1-2, Kamryn Mitchell went 1-3, Maddie Vinatieri went 1-3, and Emily Cooley went 1-3.

Lady Tigers fall to Notre Dame
The Lady Tigers went into the game optimistic in hopes to upset the Lady Pios. That wasn’t the case although the Lady Tigers put together a nice rally in the 3rd and 4th inning, Notre Dame held on to win 5-1.
Maddie Vinatieri went 2-3, Emily Cooley went 1-4, Addli Scott went 1-3 with an RBI, and Miley Moore went 1-3.
