Pastor Dennis M. Dupuis was born Aug. 4, 1959, and passed away Feb. 26, 2024, at the age of 64. He was in ministry for 30+ years and during those years he pastored The Sanctuary Church of Moss Bluff for four years. He loved fishing and always tried to out fish his wife. He adored his wife, two daughters, and all six of his grandchildren. He was the best husband, father, and PopPop.
He is survived by his wife, Lou-Dell Dupuis; children, Nickie Doyle and husband Kadyn, and Amanda Ivey and husband Ricky; and grandchildren, Mallory Renard, Skylie Berry, Mylie Berry, Grayson Ivey, Dax Ivey, and Shaylie Berry.
He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Dupuis; mother, Sybil Granger; and brother, Steve Dupuis.
The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 28, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 29, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
