Philips chosen for prestigious honor

Devin Philips, a senior at Epic Charter Schools, who has been a student of Regina Bell for six years, is set to graduate as a salutatorian in 2024. He is an active member of the Civil Air Patrol program and has been chosen as one of the two Oklahoma liaisons. In February, he will represent his state in Washington, D.C., where he will lay a wreath at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, a prestigious honor. His dedication extends beyond academics, as he is also a member of the National Honor Society, a cybersecurity student at Moore Norman Technology Center, and takes concurrent enrollment courses at Oklahoma City Community College.

Phillips is the son of Scotty and Chalice Phillips of Norman, Okla. and grandson of Jerry and Donna Phillips of DeQuincy.
