The McNeese Chamber Singers Spring Tour 2024 brought them to Calcasieu Parish to visit DeQuincy High School on Friday, Jan. 26.
DeQuincy Middle and High School Choirs along with their director Carie Barnes, a McNeese alumni.
Upcoming performances for the MSU Chamber Singers are:
Masterworks Concert – Eric Whitacre’s The Sacred Veil on Friday, Mar. 15, at 7 p.m. at Tritico Theatre.
Spring Concert – A Celebration of Song featuring the St. Louis Catholic High School and Sulphur High School Choirs on Monday, Apr. 22, at 7 p.m. at Tritico Theatre.
They will host a Summer Vocal Camp for middle and high school singers ages 11-18 on June 10-14. They will offer Group Voice Lessons, Engaging Choral Rehearsals, Musical Theatre Classes and LMEA All-State Preparation. Register through the QR code on their Facebook page.
