Nicholas “Nicky” Guy was born Nov. 10, 1982, and passed away Saturday, Jan.13, 2024, at the age of 41.
He is survived by his wife, Kayla Lafleur; children, Randi Young, Dylan Nixon, Trinity Guy, Breanna Langley, Brycelin Langley and Brooklyn Langley; mothers, Sybil Burnett Guy and Darla Burnett; siblings, George Guy Jr. and wife Pam, Richard Guy and wife Trish, Shronda Miller and husband Kenny, Mistie Meaux and husband Pat, Tyler Burnett and wife Laykyn, Jordan Hunsicker, and Bob Mcneece Guy and wife Barbara; grandchildren, Braxton Trahan and Ella Solomon; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. George Guy; and grandparents, Rev. Mid and Beulah Burnett.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 19, with the funeral service to be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 20, at First United Pentecostal Church, 230 Smith St., DeQuincy. Private interment will be held at Riley Smith Memorial Park in DeQuincy.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
