Thomas M. Satterfield was born Oct. 13, 1943, and passed away Monday, Sept. 25, 2023, at the age of 79. Thomas proudly served in the United States Army. He was the owner and operator of High Ridge Disposal for 20 years. Thomas enjoyed antique cars, Daddy Daughter dates, and being adventurous. He believed in enjoying life to the fullest. He loved his Jesus and his bride more than anything.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Donna Satterfield; daughter, Jennifer Poole and husband, Steven; grandchildren, Austin Moriarty and wife, Cara, and Abigail Sartin and husband, Brance; great grandchildren, Lydia Sartin, Esmé Moriarty, and Rome Moriarty; brother, Skeet Satterfield and wife, Betty; and his close friends, Chris Wade, Margo Thomas, and Shelley Apala.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Joy Elizabeth Satterfield; parents, Earl and Edith Satterfield; and siblings, Delbert Satterfield, Harold Satterfield, Jean Elder, and Clyde Satterfield.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, at Jefferson Barricks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo. Rev. James D. Manning will officiate.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
