Morgan Joseph Vallery was born Sept. 3, 1989 and passed away Friday, Oct. 6, 2023 at the age of 34.
He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, boiling crawfish, and having family gatherings. He loved the outdoors and took great pride in his work. Morgan was employed with Burner Fire as an offshore fabrication pipefitter. Most of all, Morgan loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his fiance, Ebony Hillery; children, Kason Hillery, Cayden Thibodeaux, Morgan Vallery, Harper Vallery, Cela Vallery; father, MichealVallery and wife, Kisha; mother, Julie Chandler Reed; dad, Percy Lee Charpentier and wife, Liz; siblings, Justin Vallery, Garrett Vallery and wife, Alicia, Kristen Vallery, Lyndsie Charpentier, Londyn Charpentier, Jansyn Charpentier, Sabrina Boyett and husband, Caleb, Dalton Miller, Gabriel Sonnier, Michael Sonnier, Maria Sonnier (Dagan Bradshaw); grandfather, Gayle Charpentier; father-in-law, Marcus Victorian and wife, Kizzy; brother and sister-in-law; Dennis Hillery, Denisecia Hillery, Anthone Hillery, Angel Reado; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his angel in heaven, Cylah Vallery; paternal grandparents, Van and Opal Vallery; maternal grandparents, Sonny and Mona Chandler; grandmother, Marie Charpentier.
The family received friends from 11 a.m. until time of the rosary at 1 p.m. Funeral service followed at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Rev. Jered Thomas officiated.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St,, DeQuincy.
