Shannon Leigh Langley was born Oct. 1, 2003, and passed away Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023, at the age of 19.
She is survived by her mother, Crystal Schiffbauer Gimnick; father, James Langley; stepfather, Marvin Harris; brother, Gabriel Langley; grandparents, Danny and Donna Gimnick, Teresa Cannon, and Renee Yacapraro; numerous aunts, including Melissa Foshee; and uncles, Daniel Gimnick, Brandon Schiffbauer, and Michael Gimnick.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Patrick Langley.
The family received friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22. Funeral service began at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church, 1156 Pilgrims Rest Rd, DeQuincy. Pastor Brad Johnson officiated. Interment followed at Masonic Cemetery in DeQuincy.
In lieu of flowers. the family is requesting donations be made towards the funeral service to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W Fourth St., DeQuincy.
