Juanita Swanson was born Sept. 29, 1940, and passed away Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2023, at the age of 82.
Juanita was sharp as a tack and enjoyed meticulous things such as painting and crafts. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Swanson; children, Tonja Durbin, Roylyn Dooley, Chad Dooley and wife, Anastacia, Jonathan Dooley and wife, Audra; grandchildren, Krysta, Marcus, Heather, Sean, Gregory, David, Clara, and Jacob; brother, Homer Bledsoe and wife, Carie; along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Bledsoe and Agnus Cassy; sister, Barbara Bledsoe; and brother, Charles Bledsoe.
A Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Rev. Alexandria Geovanni will officiate.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
