Nancy Lou Gauthreaux Percle, 85, of Lake Charles died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2023 at her residence.
She was born in Lake Charles where she was a 1955 graduate of St. Charles Academy. She worked for Broussard Insurance Agency for more than 20 years. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
She is survived by her husband, Howard John Percle, Sr. of Lake Charles; daughters, Julie Fontenot of Iowa, Susan Percle of Sulphur, and Jane Arabie of Ragley; sons, Howard Percle, Jr. of Tatum, Texas, Joey Percle of New Iberia, and Gregory Percle of Lake Charles; brothers, Leroy Gauthreaux of Gretna and Ted Gauthreaux of Lake Charles; 24 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Lucia LeBlanc Gauthreaux; daughter, Karen Percle; son, Christopher Percle; grandchild, Kelly Percle; great-grandchild, Luke Crochet; five brothers; and three sisters.
Her funeral was held Tuesday, Sept. 19, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Father Joseph Caraway officiated. Burial followed in Highland Memory Gardens under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
