Marlene Ruebush, 60, of DeQuincy was born Feb. 14, 1963, in Sulphur and passed away Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2023.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph “Joe” Ruebush; daughters, Samantha Farnum and husband, Chris, and Nikki Deloy and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Lexi Lambert and husband, Dusty, Matthew Irwin and wife, Chalin, and Emma Irwin; great-grandchildren, Beau Lambert and Isla Lambert; siblings, Richard Daigle and wife, Diana, Michael Daigle and wife, Melissa, James Daigle and wife, Shelly, Jennifer Ancelet and husband, Willie, and Chris Daigle; along with the family pet, Bella.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ella Mae Daigle.
The family received friends from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, at Riley Smith & Son’s Funeral Home. Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14, at The Pentecostal Church in DeQuincy. Rev. Wayne Neyland officiated. Interment followed at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Sulphur.
Arrangements were handed by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
