Diane Mattie Yarborough was born Jan. 22, 1946, and passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023. She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Her greatest joy was working and taking care of her family.
Diane is survived by her children, Jason Yarborough, Priscilla Smith, Jeff Yarborough and Tony Yarborough; siblings, Hughie Marion “Bubba” Watford and wife, Kathy, Louis Jr. and wife, Janet and sister, Carol Minchew and husband, Roy; grandchildren, Adam Jr., Autumn, Shawn, Preston, Max, Jessica, Kayla, Shaine, Cameron, Nicholas, Ethan, Aaron, Tina and Anthony.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hughie Preston “Sonny” Watford; daughter, Connie Yarborough; son, Bobby Yarborough; granddaughter, Twala; and parents, Claud Louis and Bessie Watford.
The family received friends from 10-11 a.m. with funeral service to begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 1, at Bethel Tabernacle. Interment followed at Rosewood Cemetery.
