James Gentry Hill was born July 29, 1961, and passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the age of 61.
He had a love and passion for motorcycles. James rode with the Blackhawks and Banshees. He loved his hog named Hawg. James proudly served in the United States Army in the 82nd Air Borne.

He is survived by his children, James Mitchell Hill, Christopher Hill, James Cody Daniel; grandchildren, Adison, Talan, Christian; sister, Vicki White Krengel and husband, Steve; lifelong best friend, Frank Hourigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Willie Hill; and brother, Terry Alan Hill.
Cremation was entrusted to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
