Avelene Marie Hennigan Burr Mason, 93, of Merryville, died on Thursday, May 11, 2023.
She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Franks and Dale of Merryville, Jan Vess of Ola, Ark.; one granddaughter; stepchildren, Donald, David, Annie, Margaret, Carol, Linda.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clark Burr and JC Mason; parents, Guy and Chrissie Hennigan; one brother; and stepsons, Johnny and Glenn.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, May 19, also at the funeral home. Brother Donald Mason and Brother Malcolm Russell Hennigan will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder.
