Arlene “Chaddie” Miller Stanley was born August 25, 1925, and passed away May 15, 2023, at the age of 97. She was the last remaining graduate in the Starks High School class of 1942. Chaddie was a welder in WWII in the Livingston Shipyard in Orange, Texas. Her family was also the founders of the Bearhead area.
She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Rozas; son, Stevie “Stove” Stanley; grandchildren, Jonnette Marie Rozas, Chad Rozas, Shanna Friesz and husband, Greg, Alexa Stanley, Gunner Stanley, and Joshua Stanley, Jered Stanley; great grandchildren, Taylor, Collin, Brylie, and Zoie.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Stanley; children, Gary Stanley; parents, Nick and Sarah Miller; brothers, Albert Miller, Johnny Miller, Sam Miller; and sisters, Annie Miller Thompson, Zilla Miller Rainwater, Eva Miller Stanley.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Lunita Pentecostal Church, Starks, Louisiana. Pastor Chris Billiot will be officiating. Interment to follow at Hyatt Cemetery, Fields, Louisiana
