DeQuincy vs. Lake Arthur

Lady Tiger Gabby Lafferty shuts out Lake Arthur.

Gabby Lafferty didn’t allow a single run as the DeQuincy Lady Tigers defeated Lake Arthur 15-0 on Tuesday. Lafferty allowed just one hit.

Baileigh Kellogg led DeQuincy to victory by driving in five runs. Kellogg went 3-for-4 at the plate. Kellogg drove in runs on a single in the second, a single in the third, and a single in the fourth.

In the first inning, the Lady Tigers got their offense started. Lafferty drove in one run when Lafferty singled.

DeQuincy put up five runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught by DeQuincy was led by Katie Willis, Kellogg, and Emily Cooley, all who drove in runs in the inning.

Lafferty led the Lady Tigers Varsity to victory in the pitcher’s circle. The pitcher surrendered zero runs on one hit over four innings, striking out six and walking no one.

Gabby Sellers was in the pitcher’s circle for Lake Arthur. Sellers surrendered nine runs on seven hits over two innings. Layla Gauthier threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

DeQuincy socked one home run on the day. Ashlyn Bullitt went deep in the third inning.

DeQuincy racked up 14 hits in the game. Kellogg, Lafferty, Adah Doucet, Cooley, and Bailey Mire each racked up multiple hits for DeQuincy.

Kellogg led the Lady Tigers with three hits in four at bats.

DeQuincy vs. Welsh

A 4-hit day for Doucet leads the DeQuincy Lady Tigers past Welsh.

Adah Doucet didn’t feel much like getting out on Monday, tallying four hits and leading DeQuincy to a 12-1 win over Welsh. Doucet singled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the third, and singled in the fifth.

An early lead helped propel DeQuincy to victory. DeQuincy scored on a triple by Katie Willis, a groundout by Baileigh Kellogg, and a single by Emily Cooley in the first inning.

DeQuincy put up three runs in the fifth inning. DeQuincy put the pressure on, lead by a single by Kellogg and a double by Willis.

Gabby Lafferty got the win for DeQuincy. The righthander surrendered one run on one hit over five innings, striking out three.

DeQuincy smacked one home run on the day. Hannah Mire hit the long ball in the fourth inning.

DeQuincy racked up 13 hits on the day with Doucet, Cooley, Willis, and Kellogg each having multiple hits for the Lady Tigers.

Doucet went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead DeQuincy in hits.
