Billie Brown

Billie Jean “Mea” Dunn LeBleu Brown was born July 28, 1937, and passed away Tuesday, Mar. 28, 2023, at the age of 85. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, antiques, and going to different markets. She was a member of The Pentecostal Church in DeQuincy. Billie always enjoyed doing things for others and she loved her family more than anything.

She is survived by her children, Robert LeBleu, Maxie LeBleu, and Mitzi Wilkinson and husband, Scott; grandchildren, Jake, Tabetha, Amber, Stann, Brandon, Bethany, and Jenny; great-grandchildren, Landon, Kaden, Presli, Ava, and Kenzie; and sisters, Mary Poole and Betty Fern Hoosier.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert LeBleu; second husband, Paul Brown; father, Benjamin Dunn; mother, Jeanette Cooley Dunn Heard Whatley; six brothers; and onesister.

The family received friends from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, Mar. 30, at The Pentecostal Church, DeQuincy. Visitation continued from 9-11 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., Friday, Mar. 31, at The Pentecostal Church, 301 W Fourth St., DeQuincy. Pastor Wayne Neyland officiated. Interment followed at Perkins Cemetery in DeQuincy.

Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
