Jon Paul Higginbotham, 56, of Merryville died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Higginbotham of Merryville; daughters, Candise Schexnyder and Bill of Leesville, Amber Foreman and Juston of Westlake, Casey Sims and Nathan of DeRidder, Charity Higginbotham and Jonathan of Walker; mother, Ella Loftin of Merryville; brother, Ray Higginbotham of Vidor, Texas; sisters, Misty Cole and Dana Loftin, both of Merryville; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hilton “Dunk” Higginbotham; and stepfather, Ray Rhudy.
Funeral service was held Sunday, Jan 22, at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Jared Riley and Terry Howard officiated. Burial followed at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville.
