Michael John Harris, 66, was born Aug. 25, 1956 and passed away Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022.
Mike and Susan Harris were married for 27 years and together 35 years. They shared many dreams, memories, laughs and friends along the way. Four years ago, Mike was diagnosed with cancer. He battled long and hard never giving up. Mike and Susan used that precious time to start completing things on his bucket list and making the most of the time they had left. On Wednesday, Nov. 30, surrounded by loved ones, Mike went to be with the Lord.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Susan Harris; daughter, Heidi Gritzewsky and husband, David; son, Keith Harris; son, Billy Holmes and wife Tammy; and beloved foster son, Brandon Roderick; grandchildren, Maycee Moreno, Anthony Moreno, Ariana Gritzewsky, Briana Gritzewsky, Madilyn Roderick, Taylee Holmes, Nicholas Roderick, and Brantley Michael Holmes; and his in-laws, Billy and Patricia McMurrough.
Cremation was entrusted to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th Street, DeQuincy.
