The Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of DeQuincy, La. met in regular session on July 19, 2022 for the following purpose:
Chairman Jerry McCaig called the meeting to order and upon roll call, those present and absent were as follows:
Present: Jerry McCaig, Darlene Hooker, Tracey Brown, Shirley Bagwell, Brenda Vige
Absent: Lynne Treme, Carmen Iley
A quorum present, the following business was transacted. The minutes from June 14, 2022 were reviewed. Tracey Brown made a motion to approve the minutes and Darlene Hooker seconded. Motion carried.
The financial report for May 2022 was presented and discussed. The year-to-date actuals were compared to the year-to-date budget. Tracey Brown made a motion to approve the financial report as presented and Darlene Hooker seconded the motion. Motion carried.
A list of outstanding debts owed for FYE 9/30/22 was presented. After discussion, Tracey Brown made a motion to write off the outstanding debts owed totaling $2528. Darlene Hooker seconded the motion. Motion carried. Res # 985
The 2023 Operating Fund Budget was presented and discussed. Darlene Hooker made a motion to accept the budget as presented and Tracey Brown seconded. Motion carried. Res # 986
The 2022 CFP Annual PHA Plan/2022 5-Year Action Plan was presented and discussed. Tracey Brown made a motion to accept the CFP Annual Plan/5-Year Action Plan as presented and Darlene Hooker seconded. Motion carried. Res # 987
The vacancy report was presented by Brenda Vige.
There being no further business to come before the board, the Chairman thereupon declared meeting adjourned.
