Recently, DeQuincy Masonic Lodge 279 members donated funding to Ward 6 Fire Protection District # 1 and DeQuincy Volunteer Fire Department for the purchase of bottled water.
Staying hydrated during emergency response calls is an integral part of firefighter rehabilitation to prevent heat related emergencies during training or on emergency scenes.
On Saturday, Nov. 5, Masonic Lodge members met with fire department representatives to document this important donation.
Both departments greatly appreciate the support of the local Masonic Lodge as we work together to ensure our communities have the best emergency response services.
