Loving Our Very own Elderly

L.O.V.E. Community Mission was organized Feb. 8, 2012 and Feb 8, 2023 we celebrated our 11th anniversary! We are grateful to Creative Hearts Crochet Group (L.C.) for the items for each resident at DeQuincy Care Center. We have not been active with senior events since Covid. We are grateful though for our partners that supported us, our awesome volunteers and a caring community for years (2012-2020) of those Senior events. However, there are DeQuincy Organizations and others that are presently active for the senior events.

L.O.V.E. Community Mission connection for seniors is through our main assignments. Services includes calls, local transport, yard mowing, senior awareness, and handiwork at our discretion. You will find DeQuincy community senior monthly birthday greetings in the classified section of the DeQuincy News. We offer many helpful resources. We make yearly contributions to senior programs and facilities. Staying connected and reaching out to our seniors in senior facilities provide blessings to “seniors able”/“seniors unable” to attend outside events.

We salute our DeQuincy Seniors and our military men and women for their service. Also, congrats to our school graduates and best wishes for a successful future. We encourage our youths to participate in community volunteer work. We genuinely love, respect, serve and honor our seniors! We will continue to support! Reach out to the seniors wherever you encounter them!

We are blessed to bless our seniors.
