DeQuincy Chamber of Commerce will host the 2nd Annual Miss Merry Christmas Pageant on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of DeQuincy’s Fellowship Hall.
Entry fee is $30. The deadline to enter is Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 12 noon. Entry forms may picked up at the Chamber office at 218 E. 4th St. on Monday or Wednesday prior to deadline or at DeQuincy News office at 203 E. Harrison St.
Dress is Sunday Best for younger divisions and pageant wear for Deb Miss and up with these divisions wearing long dresses.
Divisions are Infant Miss – birht to 11 months; Baby Miss – 12 to 24 months; Petite Miss- 3 years; Tiny Miss – 4-5 years; Little Miss – 6-7 years; Darling Miss – 8-9 years; Deb. Miss – 10-11 years; Pre Teen Miss – 12 years; Teen Miss – 13 years; Jr. Miss – 14-15 years; Miss – 16-18 years.
Those crowned Queen will recieve a crown, flowers and a certificate. The first runner-up will receive a certificate.
All Queens will be asked to ride in the Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m. Lineup is at 10 a.m.
