Charlie Wallace was born Dec. 25, 1952 in Muskegon, Mich. and passed away Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022 in Beaumont, Texas.
He loved his boys and grandchildren deeply. He served as a chief inspector for Lockner. Charlie was a great storyteller and his younger years, dreamed of being a mountain man. In school, he played center position on the Deweyville basketball team.
A special thanks to Charles Bimbo Wilson for all his help during Charlie’s final day.
Charlie is survived by is wife, Bert Wallace: sons, Jerry Wallace and wife, Jan, Mike Wallace and wife, Constance; grandchildren, Caeden Wallace, Weston Wallace and Ashtyn Wallace; sisters. Darlene Babineaux and Charlotte Clark along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Betty Gardner Wallace.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th St., DeQuincy.
