June Sylvia Hughes, 88, of DeQuincy was born Jan. 31, 1934 and passed away Monday, July 4, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Ada Knowles; sister, Kate Knowles; and brother, Donald Knowles.
She is survived by her children, Sylvia Hughes, Nina LeBlanc and husband, Ken “Trooper”, Alex Hughes, Raymond Hughes and wife, Sandi, Graham McDonald; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be private.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
