Barry Lewis Wolven was born Nov. 27, 1946 and passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the age of 75. Barry was a mechanic by trade and a cowboy by choice. He loved horses, rodeos, and cattle. He retired after 48 years from Century Group.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marie “Jeanie” Wolven; two sons, Jeffery Scott Wolven and Barry Michael Wolven (Tammy); one grandchild, Tiffany Reann; two sisters, Gail LaMont (Louis), and Paula Scofield (John); his nieces, Katania and Patti; and his Goddaughter, Amanda Eastman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Iva Wolven.
The family received friends from 12-2 p.m. with the memorial service beginning at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 8, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
