Darron “Mule Rider” Sellers, 69, of Merryville died on Monday, June 6, 2022.
He graduated from South Beauregard High School in 1972. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked as a loader operator in the logging industry for 25 years.
Survivors include his companion, Brenda Franks of Merryville; sons, Arron Sellers and Amy of DeRidder, and Shawn Sellers and Sarah of Rosepine; daughters, Tammy Isbell and Daniel of Merryville, and Kimberly Hensgens Albrecht of Lake Charles; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Tanga Sellers; father, Bartley Sellers; mother, Juanita Rodisch; and two brothers.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 9, at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Brother Delbert Isbell officiated. Burial followed at Merryville Cemetery in Merryville.
