Bonnye Hebert

Bonnye Anne Dunham Theriot Hebert, 92, of Lake Charles died Wednesday, June 8, 2022 in a local care facility.

She was born in DeQuincy where she was raised and graduated from DeQuincy High School. She moved to Grand Chenier and resided there until moving to Lake Charles in the 1990s. She was catholic and was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven parish. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Home Demonstration Club.

She is survived by four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great- grandchildren; three great- great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alma “Cooter” Smith of DeQuincy.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Valian Theriot and Dr. Jerry Hebert; a stepdaughter, Lillian Theriot Mouton; two sisters; two grandchildren, Tommy and Johnny Mouton; one great-grandson, Gerry Mouton; and her parents, Eula and Ben Dunham.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, at the Johnson Funeral Home chapel. Monsignor Daniel Torres will officiate. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until the start of the service with a rosary being recited at 12:30 p.m. Cremation will follow and an inurnment will be held on Friday, June 24, at 2 p.m. in St. Eugene Catholic Cemetery in Grand Chenier.
