Ronald Fox

Ronald Gordon Fox was born on Mar. 5, 1965 and went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 3, 2022, at the age of 57.

He was a pastor to all for 22 years. He never met a stranger and always looked for any opportunity to minister and help others. He was a simple man; you could always find him outside working on a project.

He was known to always have someone else’s car in the driveway that he was working on. He really found joy in having people over for a meal. He was known for his delicious gumbo and amazing breakfast skillet. He never missed an opportunity to take the grandkids on a tractor or lawnmower ride.

He loved to get his kids on stage to do any impromptu performance, even if they weren’t prepared. He enjoyed working with his hands, whether it be building something for one of his grand kids, working on something for the farm, a project for one of his loved ones, and helping one of the many people he ministered to. One of his favorite verses was Philippians 4:8-9.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Fox, and sister, Margie Hughes.

He leaves behind his wife, Tomie Fox; their four children and spouses, Carol Ann and Brett Hunter, Allison and Will Gilley, Matthew and Amanda Fox, and Nancy Fox and her fiancé Alex Galindo.

He also leaves behind his father, Ronald Dee Fox; sister and husband Karen and Mike McMillan; and nine grandchildren, Bristol, Jaxon, Easton, Kimber, Reese, Crew, Brady, Kennedy, and Max.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 9, at Heritage Baptist Church from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Services followed at 1 p.m. Interment was at IOOF Cemetery, Georgetown, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donatation may be made to Heritage Baptist Church.
