Roy Dean Clark was born Aug. 20, 1950 and passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 at the age of 71 at his residence in Deweyville, Texas. Roy proudly served in the United States Army for 4 years. He also worked as a pipefitter at a local 195 and retired from Brown & Root.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Wallace Clark; children, Bryston Clark of Deweyville, Crystal Haymon and son, Dakota Dickman of Deweyville; Angela Theriot and husband, Ricky of Vidor Brian Clark of Jamestown, NY, Angela Clark of Jamestown, NY, Angela Deal and husband, Mike of DeQuincy, Jeniffer Overton and husband, Karl of DeQuincy, Jeff Musgrove and wife, Rhonda of DeQuincy; brother, Eugene Clark and wife, Beverly of Deweyville and sister, Fanetta Keener and husband, Perry of Kilgore, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Neali Clark Leopaul; parents, Winifred Clark and Earlies Beckworth Clark; and brother, Gregory Clifford Clark.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m., Thursday, May 26, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
