Area athletes have been named to the Louisiana Baseball Coaches Association Underclass All State Games West. They are DeQuincy Tiger Reese Ashworth, Singer Hornet Tate Hess and South Beau Golden Knights, Jace Duhon and Christian Wold.
South Beauregard’s Jeremy Deville has been named Director.
The players were chosen out of 60 plus kids to represent west Louisiana.
A total of 100 athletes from all over Louisiana will meet in Hammond at Southeastern on June 6-8, to showcase the Best of the Best. Twenty-five or so players will be chosen from that to go play in a tournament in Troy, Ala. at the end of June.
