Timothy Wayne Fontenot, Sr. was born Apr. 26, 1959 and passed away Friday, Mar. 18, 2022 at the age of 62 .
He is survived by his wife, Crystal Keel; son, Timothy Wayne Fontenot, Jr. and wife, Amber; grandchildren, Kinli and River; sisters, Carolyn Johnson and Katherine Fontenot Newman, along with numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Qulice Fontenot and Eva Fontenot Guillory; brother, Michael Fontenot; and sister, Genieve Fontenot.
The family received friends from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Mar. 21, and the funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Mar. 22. The visitation and funeral service were held at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Interment followed at the Masonic Cemetery in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
