Old Timers Reunion set April 9

The Old Timers Reunion, part of the Louisiana Railroad Days Festival, is scheduled for Saturday, Apr. 9, at 10 a.m. at the DeQuincy United Methodist Church Gym. Entertainment will be provided by Robert LeBlanc and Sons.

LeBlanc is a renowned musician/guitar teacher who is employed by Lake Charles Music and his talented children, Jet, 11, and Kai, 14 will be accompanying him. Kai plays percussion and Jet does vocals and piano.

Lunch will be provided by Bae Bae’s Backyard and Tim Treme. Cornbread will be donated by Brookshire Brothers. Awards will be given for traveling the furthest, oldest in attendance, and youngest retiree. All attendees will receive something to take home. Come join old friends and railroad buddies.

A photo booth furnished by Lt. Gov. Billy Nungessor’s Office of Tourism will be available so friends can create lasting memories.
