Nathan Areno is one of the featured performers for the Louisiana Railroad Days Gospel Night. Gospel performances will begin at 5 p.m. on Friday, Apr. 8.
Areno began traveling to music venues with his dad and grandfather at an early age. His musical influences include D’Ryan Green, Jerry Sullivan, Carl Jackson and many others.
He is the father of two daughters, Katie and Allie. He and his wife, Nettie, have been married for 25 years.
In addition to being a songwriter, he plays several instruments including guitar, fiddle and mandolin. He has been fortunate to have many charted songs.
In 2020, his song “I’ve Seen Enough” was song of the year on the HLE Christian Country Countdown. He has been blessed to perform at many great venues and write with many great musicians and songwriters.
Areno says “I am thankful my band and I get to spread faith and hope with great folks across the country”.
