Karen Lynn Alston Harris, 55, of Lake Charles, died on Tuesday, Mar. 1, 2022 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Pasadena, Texas. She took great pride in serving people, especially in her business, “Lil’ Lucy Ice Cream Truck.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Jay Harris; son, Michael Colton Harris of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Ashlyn Paige Harris Lynn (Blake) of Singer, and Jessica Alisha Saucier (Dustin) of Ragley; three brothers, Coy Alston of Denton, Texas, Lucas Alston of DeQuincy, and Rick Whitman of Saltillo, Miss.; two sisters, Patricia Alston Baugh of Vinton, and Kelly Winkler of Harrison, Ark.; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Mary Alston.
A celebration of life service was held at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home on Saturday, Mar. 5, with Bro. Paul Nugent officiating. Burial followed at Perkins Cemetery.
