Socorro “Coco” Garza, 89, was born Nov. 24, 1932 and passed away Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her husband, E. Cole Garza; parents, Fermin and Consuleo Salas DeLeon; and brother, Alfonso DeLeon.
She is survived by her daughter, Christie Garza; brothers, Fermin DeLeon, Jr. and wife, Martina, Jose Deleon and wife, Angela, Frank DeLeon; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, at Brookside Memorial Park.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
