Mary Leona Hyatt Sharbino was born in DeQuincy on Dec. 27, 1950 and passed away Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021 at the age of 70.
She is survived by her husband, Daryl Wayne Sharbino, Sr.; son, Eddie Powers, Sr.; stepdaughter, Amanda Zachary; and stepsons, Daryl W. Sharbino, Jr. and Jessie W. Sharbino; grandchildren, Kathleen Hess, James Hess, John Hess, Irma Hess, Tamara Runions, Jennifer Licon, Timothy Dickerson, Kasha Runions, Sara Runions, Eddie Powers, Jr., Bethany Powers, Triston Dominque, Jessica Hebert, T’Aunna Zachary, Kiaunta’ Zachary, Konnor Sharbino, Kaycee Sharbino, Kaden Nelson, Tiffany Barnes, and Makenzie Barnes; and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, George Hyatt, Sr., Emmy Hydle and husband, Robert, Sr., Charles Rogers and wife, Carla, Ida Dunham and husband, Bobby, Sr., and Robert Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Catherine Dickerson, Susan Runions and Delores Hess; parents, George Hyatt and Mary Rogers; siblings, Barbara Biddle, Jessie W. Rogers and Celestine Dunham.
The family received friends from 9-10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 27, with the funeral service beginning at 10 a.m. The visitation and funeral were held at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Interment followed at Perkins Cemetery in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
