John Dent Thurman, 63, of Merryville died on Monday, Aug. 23, 2021.
He was survived by his brother, Jake Thurman of Merryville; and sister, Rose Thurman Davis of Water Valley, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Dent “Tex” Thurman; mother, Wyolene Thurman; and grandparents, Henry and Helen Hennigan.
A memorial service was held Thursday, Aug. 26, at Canon Cemetery in Merryville. Bro. Bart Coody officiated.
