Brooks “Bubba” Arrant, 60, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2021.
He was born in DeQuincy. He was raised in Southwest Louisiana and graduated from Lake Charles High, Class of 1979. Then he began his lifelong career as a truck driver.
He was survived by his children, Zachery W. Arrant, Taylor Arrant, Grace Arrant, and Jackson Arrant; a sister, Keitha Arrant; a brother, Brian Arrant; and mother of his children, Dorinda Gilley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Brooks and Billie Jean Arrant.
A funeral service began at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 27, at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. A private inurnment at New Ritchie Cemetery will be held at a later date.
