Meghan Nicole Marcantel, was born Aug.22, 1992 and passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at the age of 28.
She is survived by her son, Kealan Trey Thompson; fiance’ Lonnie Trout; mother, Rebecca Roshto and husband, Jason; father, James Alvin Marcantel and fiance’ Barbara Griffin; sisters, Kasha Brooke Ashworth and Katlin Paige Marcantel; nephew, Karter Jace Marcantel; aunts and uncles, Remonia Pierce; Robert Ashworth, Jr. and wife, Jonna, Norma Ashworth and companion, Dale Hammon and Kenneth Marcantel and wife, Susan along with many cousins and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert L. and Alice Ashworth; and Alvin and Pauline Marcantel.
The family received friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday, July 30, and the funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 31. The visitation and funeral were held at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Interment followed at Perkins Cemetery in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
