Cody Wayne Marler, 38, of Merryville died on Saturday, July 24, 2021.
He is survived by his wife, April Drake Marler of Merryville; sons, Nolan Marler, Jude Marler, both of Merryville, Caleb Colvin of DeRidder; mother and step-father, Mona and Dan Simpson of Alvarado, Texas; step-mother, Karen Richardson of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; sister, Christina M. Marler of DeRidder; step-brothers, Devin Simpson and Michael Simpson of Alvarado, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Marler; and grandmothers, Ada Moore and Johnnie Ortiz.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 28, at Myers-Colonial Funeral in DeRidder.
