Anita Royer Smith, 58, of DeQuincy was born Apr. 18, 1963 in DeQuincy and passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021 in Sulphur.
She is survived by her children, Kimberly Smith and husband, Bryan, Kevin Smith, Anita Bushnell and husband, Johnny, Robie Buxton and husband, Charles, John Smith and wife, Ashley, Derek Smith and fiance, Brittany, Eric Smith and wife, Samantha, Tesha Brown and husband, Josh Brown; 21 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; father, Louis Royer; brother, Charles Tim Royer; sisters, Janice Brown and Judith Royer.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Jeremy Smith and Jeffery Smith; mother, Joy Broxson Royer; and brother, Alvin Royer.
The family received friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3 at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4 at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Anthony Kennon officiating. Interment will follow at Cole Cemetery in DeQuincy.
Arrangements will be handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
